Kids Virtue Poster

This colorful poster is a complete list of all 12 of our Virtues, their Catchphrases and Antonyms. The Kids of VirtueVille are pictured next to each Virtue for easy reference. The Kids Virtue Poster presents a language of Virtue that is both clear and positive.  If you are looking for a precise and consistent standard for both attitudes and actions that everyone can understand, this is a great place to start. It will help you create a brand new culture in your home or classroom that will eliminate confusion and build hope.

This poster can be reused year after year and is included in all of our Kits.

How to use this tool:

  • Hang this poster in a prominent place in your home or classroom for easy reference. Children will feel very secure when they see that the standard is being used consistently.
  • For encouragement:  Take your child to the Kids Virtue Poster and have them find virtue they are using!  Tell them that you are proud of them. This is a great thing to do once a day with every child.
  • For correction:  Take a child to the Kids Virtue Poster and have them find virtue they are not using. Have them explain what attitude and action they need to change. The antonyms will help with this.
  • For teachable moments: We must put children in a place to have to USE the virtue they are learning about. Point out or create opportunities to use virtue in every-day-life. Take your child to the poster and let them find the virtue that applies to a job they are about to do or a situation they are facing. Then put that virtue to use. There are some situations that require every virtue!

"I like this We Choose Virtues poster because:
*It is a bright poster that will catch the children's eyes at random times. It serves as visual reminder even when we aren't talking about it.

*It is great for various ages. From your youngest child that is just learning gentleness to your tween that needs an obedience reminder, this chart will serve your family through all the ages and stages.

*The chart isn't overly aggressive or underly syrupy. It is straightforward and the 12 virtues are valuable for everyone. As Christians, we include Bible verses as we talk about the chart but this would be just as valid of a tool for any family.

*It is easy to reference in any conflict discussion. Children arguing? Talk about self-control and kindness. Little Billy not listening to you? Point out "I am obedient". Sally's Christmas list incredibly long? Discuss being content." ~Edie #virtuemom
